Thethree-yearprojectwillprovidefreshperspectivesonrealworldchallengesfocusingonfivekeyclusters:homeandliving;communitiesandthepublicsector;factoryandworkplaces;citiesandurban;and,populationandpolicy.Fourthemescutacrosstheseclusters:sustainability,health,internationalandprosperity. BeyondImaginationwillidentifyandaddresscurrentandemergingglobalchallengessuchasAgeingSociety,ArtificialIntelligenceandData,CleanGrowth,HealthandWellbeing.TheexpansionofImaginationLancasterwillmeanthatallareasofdesign,includingarchitecturaldesign,aredeveloped.ThereforefeedingintoLancaster’snewschoolofarchitectureaswellasdesign. ExpandingExcellenceinEngland(E3)investmentwillcreateacriticalmassofnewresearchers,whowillbeinductedintothecultureofresearchexcellenceinImaginationLancaster. WearecurrentlyrecruitingtenPhDstudents(3.5yearsfunding)toworkwithintheclustersandthemesandthreesupportstaff(ImpactManager,Visualiser,Admin).
