QualcommTechnologiesisalsolaunchingtheworld’sfirstannounced5G100MHzenvelopetrackingsolution,QET6100,aswellasafamilyofintegrated5G/4Gpoweramplifier(PA)anddiversitymodules,andtheQAT35555Gadaptiveantennatuningsolution. TheQET6100extendsenvelopetrackingtechnologytothewide100MHzuplinkbandwidthand256-QAMmodulationneededfor5GNR,previouslyconsideredunattainable.Thiscanachieveuptodoublethepowerefficiencycomparedtothealternativeaveragepowertrackingtechnology,enablingfasterdeviceswithlongbatterylife,aswellassignificantimprovementsinnetworkcoverageandcapacity–keyconsiderationsfornetworkoperators. QualcommTechnologies’newadvancedRFFEPAanddiversitymodulesinclude: PAmoduleswhichpairwithQET6100tosupport100MHz5Genvelopetracking.QPM6585,QPM5677andQPM5679forbandsn41,n77/78andn79respectively. Mid/High-band5G/4GPAmoduleQPM5670featuresintegratedLNA,switch,filtersand5Ghexaplexer. Low-band5G/4GPAmoduleQPM5621withintegratedLNA,switchandfilters,andsupportforlow-band/low-bandcarrieraggregationanddualconnectivity. DiversitymodulefamilyQDM58xx,featuringintegrated5G/4GLNA,switchandfiltersforreceivediversityandMIMOsupportforsub-6GHzbands. TohelpOEMsaddressthegrowingnumberofantennasandfrequencyrangesupportrequiredinmobiledevices,QualcommTechnologieshasalsointroducedtheQAT3555SignalBoostadaptiveantennatuner,extendingadaptiveantennatuningtechnologyto5Gbandsupto6GHz,whilefeaturinga25%reducedpackageheight,andlowerlosscomparedtothepreviousgeneration.
