直立式設計為先抽風再過濾，所以風力相對較大，而橫置式有三層過濾，使得馬達的抽風時，風力相對會較弱；以震動率大小而言，以直立式的震動上相對於橫置式的震動小，使得CNC加工時的精度較高，因此GEP系列的直立式設計，創造大風量、小震動、高攔截油霧回流量並專業處理回收CNC車床、銑床等工具機因加工時所產生的油煙、油氣、油霧及細懸浮微粒等廢棄油煙，以有效達到PM2.5的標準值範圍。
